This is my story...
Everyone has their own story and our stories all have something in common — we all start from nothing.
Sharing the stories that shaped our life doesn't make us weak. It makes us human. When we share stories of the defining moments in our lives, we connect at a deeper level, beyond roles and goals. Here's mine.
As a Speaker, Storytelling Trainer and Coach, I feel blessed to have helped many clients discover & embrace their unique voice, embed purpose in their work and inspired others to action.
As a social entrepreneur, I’ve launched startups promoting better mental health & wellbeing and encouraging ethical consumer decision-making in the community, impacting people and organisations across Australia, India, the US and the UK.

My work is crystallised by my lived experience of mental health, disability, cultural and linguistic diversity and being a young carer from a refugee and migrant background, for which I’ve won multiple awards for leadership, safety & well-being and social impact.
Yet, throughout this period of growth and development, my inner voice kept reminding me of my true calling - sharing stories and helping others do the same.

These were the old stories I used to tell myself:
“Not becoming a doctor makes me a failure.”
“Being addicted to drugs and alcohol makes me a degenerate.”
“Losing my job makes me unreliable and worthless.”
And for so long, I felt afraid to take the leap of faith into the unknown and pursue my passions, but sharing my truth by turning these limiting beliefs into stories of strength built the bridge to get me there.
My Story
As a Speaker, Storytelling Coach and Mentor, I feel blessed to have helped many clients discover & embrace their unique voice, embed purpose in their work and inspire others to action.
As a social entrepreneur, I’ve launched startups which promote better mental health & wellbeing and encourage ethical consumer decision-making in the community, having impacted people and organisations across Australia, India, the US and UK.

My work is crystallised by my lived experience of mental health, disability, cultural and linguistic diversity and being a young carer from a refugee and migrant background, for which I’ve won multiple awards for leadership, safety & wellbeing and social impact.
My father, friends, colleagues and clients often struggled with their emotions in silence, but as I shared my own experiences with mental health, I witnessed the creation of a safe space which helped them safely open up and liberate their burden as well.
After a decade of struggle with trauma, grief, anxiety and depression, I realised that there was one common denominator which fuelled my own personal success as well as the success of others I have worked with - storytelling.

So many people are afraid to speak up at work, ask for the promotion that they’re truly worthy of or make their dreams a reality because of the old stories they tell themselves.
The stories we tell ourselves matter more than you might think. And the stories we allow others to tell us about ourselves matter as well.
Too often, we tend to miss this fact. Or we get so used to the same stories over and over again that we take them as gospel and forget that we get to write our own.
Somewhere along the way we adopted the story of our past as a defining truth of who we are. So we believe certain things to be true about ourselves:
"I can’t clean my home, I’m just a messy person."
"I can’t get fit, working out is just not my thing."
"I can’t pursue my passions, it’s safer doing something else."
"I can’t quit smoking, I’ve tried time and time again."
"I can’t be mentally stable, my entire family is dysfunctional."
In almost every one of the circumstances above, it’s not you that can’t achieve the change you want to see in life… It's the story you are telling yourself that is keeping you from achieving that goal.
And you can change the story you tell yourself any time you want.
You don’t have to be a messy person.
You don’t have to be unhealthy.
You don’t have to be stuck doing something you don’t love.
And on and on and on.

Those old stories don’t have to define you. Now is your chance to start telling yourself a new one.
I truly believe that re-authoring our personal narrative and telling our new story is the key to unlocking our potential. It’s the same key which has unlocked and passed down generations of knowledge since our ancestors roamed the earth, helping us evolve as a society.
My mission is to help all people rewrite their own story as one of strength, resilience and learning, in order to clear any self-limiting obscurations, step into their personal power and experience a life of success & fulfilment.
